We are launching Quiz Sorter, a highly effective and real innovative software application helping contestants to study and pass multiple-choice exams based on pre-defined lists of questions and answers. As a difference from the numerous applications available on the web, our tool contains several features really facilitating a quick learning with the lowest possible effort (see below).

With Quiz Sorter you can associate to questions and answers your own difficulty rate, in order to create ’clusters’ of questions and prioritize training and listening accordingly, as well as your own remarks, which would help you memorize and understand the toughest questions and answers; difficulty rates and comments can be and maintained at any time and, at will, easily shared with your contestant fellows by means of specific import/export features.
Consistently, the application allows retrieving questions and answers for every trial or listening session based on various criteria, including reference number ranges, difficulty rate, random extract, alphabetic, lower number of attempts, higher number of errors. As the application allows defining multiple lists of questions within an exam, e.g. by subject, each training or listening session can be focused on a specific list or on the whole set os exam questions.
In its Voice version, Quiz Sorter contains the vocal synthetic recording of questions and right answers, so that you can easily and comfortably listen to them from your PC or your Mp3 reader in your car, in your kitchen, at your desk, while walking, running, biking or whenever you feel like. The Mp3 player needs to be compatible with Windows Media Player playlists format. More specifically, you will be able to create your own customized playlists selecting questions according to the various criteria usable while running a training sessions.
Schools and other training institutions can use the tool to create their own lists of questions and answers. Moreover, they can set multiple users codes for the same exam (password protected) and record and analyze individual users’ results, comments, rating.
Quiz Sorter is already available in Italian and English (for what concerns forms and messages); upon request we can translate it in other languages. Questions and answers can already be handled in any Unicode-compatible language today.

What are the exams for which Q&A are already available? Probably not your own one, but that IS NOT AN ISSUE at all: in fact, substantially any exam can be managed by Quiz Sorter. As a matter of fact:

some exams are or will become part of our catalogue options (the catalogue is under preparation, initially targeting the Italian market), and you can contribute to its formation through recommendations and requests;
otherwise you can
- ask us to load for you Q&A as a (standard) service option - see below pricelist (if for instance you represent a school or an institution, or simply if you have a set of Q&A which we could or would not add to the catalogue for marketing or copyright reasons), OR
- simply load your Q&A on your own, set using the specific software features included in the base version.

Our sales schema involves the following items:

(a catalogue list of selectable exams, valid for the markets already addressed through catalogue options and tending to grow and evolve upon the time)
a base package including one catalogue exam if requested and substantially all software features, but for vocal synthesizing and listening, yet including all features allowing Q&A entry, import/exports etc., at a price of 18€(*), .
the option to purchase additional catalogue exams, either pre-installed or installable as upgrade packages, at a price of 8€(*) for every new exam.
the option to request us to load new exams for you besides those which we would decide to add to the catalogue at a price of 25€ per exam (*) (**).
The Voice version, to listen to previously synthetically recorded questions and right answers, to help you speed-up learning process, at a price of 12€(*) per available exam (normally catalogue exams in English, Italian and other languages which we would offer at the time of your request; however, upon request the offer might apply also to non-catalogue Q&As lists, at a price to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis).
The option to request the enabling of one or more additional users, at a price of 5€(*)per additional user - with 50% reduction from the 6th user thereafter.
For everyone, the free trial license option valid for 5 days, incorporating a catalogue exam for demo purposes.
Until September 15th the first 10 customers of each new catalogue exam will get the full license for free.

(*) Plus VAT or sales taxes, where applicable.
(**) For this you should provide us with Q&A text in an editable format. The service is conditioned to a technical feasibility check, in order to ensure that Q&A format allows the editing and formatting actions required. Customer’s content would not be distributed to anyone else using the same source; nevertheless, more customers could request the same service for the same content, each providing their own copy of the material to be loaded (whether exactly corresponding to the one provided by the others or not). By offering this option, as well as by enabling ussers to do it on their own for free through an application feature, we want to allow incorporating potentially proprietary content into our application without violating any copyright laws: our intervention would not imply redistributing such content, but rather simply format it as it comes from you in a way compatible with our software manipulation (as a tailor would to with a cut of fabrics provided by the customer).

The application runs locally on your Windows PC (XP or subsequent OS versions), with no need to be connected to the web at runtime. It implies presence of either a licensed copy of Microsoft Access 2007, or of its free of charge version named Microsoft Access 2007 Runtime, which can be downloaded any time from Microsoft Website (click on this hypertext for direct linking) with no constraints or limitations (note: the installation routine of Quiz sorter checks presence of either Access 2007 version and terminates in case none of them is found, with a focused message).
