graph 1:   The graph illustrates the position of both Tracking & Tracing and localization modules within the chain of processes and actors of the supply and distribution chain. It assumes that there are three subsequent transportation companies involved, of which the first one is the shipment main contractor and also Traceland customer, and thus owner of OkiTracki as a tool. As it can be seen, OkiTracki can be directly operated by all transportation companies involved and, when applicable, to some extend by sender and recipient themselves (at least for inquiry purposes).

graph 2:   The graph specifically illustrates most of the possible links between OkiTracki and relevant combinations of processes + system modules belonging to the multiple actors involved.  The links are marked using different symbols according to the likelihood and degree of importance of the relation (deep and recurrent, frequent, possible).
Please note that the scheme does not distinguish among the possible types of linkage, which can be:

  • Simply manually carried out inquiries on status of the shipments;
  • Automatic data exchanges (e.g.: actual delivery confirmation details can be transmitted to the recipient´s sales order processing system module);
  • Direct usage of specific data entry features of the application by our customers´ partners (e.g.: once shipment is created manually or automatically into OkiTracki, the sender lists all label codes pertaining to it by scanning their barcodes while logged into OkiTracki).
