Below some specific notes about the benefits of OkiTracki. General indications about the benefits common to different applications developed or developable and about the cost associated with their usage (billing scheme is common to all applications) are reported in the first section of the website, under the heading Solutions -> benefits and cost. There you can also find some indications about cost that you do not have to plan and risks that you do not need to fear.


A) Reduction of clerical work

Businesses using OkiTracki benefit from:

  • a tremendous reduction of clerical activity associated with collection, archiving and retrieval of much of the shipments related paperwork: filing legal documents will become sufficient in most cases.
  • a drastic reduction of shipment status analysis efforts, turning it into a much more efficient and proactive monitoring task and leaving routine checks be made by customers themselves through self inquiries or, where activated, automatic feedback transmissions via e-mail.

These savings will result particularly tangible when your company is used to sub-contract part of the operational activities to third parties (individuals, distributors, custom brokers, etc.) who, through specific system features and by means of various tools, can take direct responsibility of recording relevant events into the main database where they become immediately available for inquiries.

 


B) Savings on direct labour and consumables (fuel, drive hours, ...)

An accurate tracking process helps reduce errors (e.g.: wrong deliveries, losses, etc.) or at least promptly identify and more effectively address them.
