Applications overview: OkiTracki, TrackEat and the others

Traceland did start by developing a distribution logistics-oriented tracking software application for both shipments planning and execution and vehicles tracking & localization.

The application design, however, was made paying constant attention to grant an easy and quick adaptability to other business contexts sharing the key functional and technological requirements: the capability to collect in multiple modes data, documents and multimedia files about operational processes carried out across time and space, possibly by a network of actors.
This circumstance enabled and will still enable us to promptly set, with a prototypal approach, new applications according to the market opportunities encountered involving the need for a real time tracker software application. These include the following:

Dedicated to Transportation and Distribution Logistics for shipments tracking & tracing and PDA-based GPS vehicle tracking systems (AVL black-box devices for standard fleet localization opionally available), along with field force assistance.

To execute a descriptive, qualitative and consumer-oriented tracking of food processing activities throughout the supply chain, upstream. Through our software solution producers and key distributors can present to consumers, lot-by-lot, the most qualitatively meaningful aspects of their production (where, how and by whom products or ingredients were transformed or grown, with the possibility to attach videos, pictures of external documents).

For sport teams or athletes who believe in opportunity to improve performances and better manage the activity of the team by effectively real-time and on-site tracking the key facts occurred during competitions, training and organizational activities as well as individuals´ geographical positions. Examples of suitable disciplines are biking, running, motor racing, golf, sailing.

All applications share most of the technical characteristics and by default are proposed in ASP (Application Service Provider) mode - see section service for further details. This approach grants:
